It was a sad occasion at Wainstalls when we said goodbye to our longest serving member of staff Barbara Bamforth. Mrs Bamforth has served our children as a lunchtime supervisor for 25 years and is now going to enjoy a well deserved retirement. There was a huge response when we asked for contributions for a goodbye gist. The lunchtime staff bought Barbara a bench for her garden while the children and staff presented her with flowers, chocolates and some jewellery. Goodbye Mrs Bamforth and a big thank you from everyone at Wainstalls.
