ROBOT INVASION!
Class 2 children have been working on a QCA Unit of Work called "What is Sculpture?"
As part of the Unit, they have been creating ROBOT sculptures from all kinds of junk materials. Using junk, scraps, odds and ends and bits and pieces the robots were made. Then they were painted to look like rusty metal!
Some of the junk has been brought from home (thanks to everyone who helped us out with this!). But some of the junk has been brought from a place called SCRAP FOR PLAY in Halifax. We managed to get all kinds of things from there - a real treasure trove!
